Feeling proud of myself that it worked, i went to sleep happy that the weather was once again on my screen and the job was done.
The template files make it fairly easy to convert practically any skin to use the weather.com api, even skins that used other data sources like yahoo, darksky, etc. Many skins are using weather.com and they rely on the api key which sometimes gets changed Many modern weather skins will have a weathercomjsonvariables.inc file or a separate skin with settings where you can change the api key. I just saw my skin won't show any weather information
